Q151 STRETCH SURI ALPACA
Suri Alpaca is more rare that the commonly bred Huacaya Alpaca (about 20% of world alpaca production). It has long lustrous fibers that hang down their bodies like ‘dreadlocks’. The fiber scales are longer and more smooth, which gives the suri alpaca it’s lustrous silk-like shine and smoothness. Because the fibers are more straight it feels a bit cooler to touch than normal alpaca.
